The Community Action Plan is part of our commitment to tackling local issues and improving the town.
Work began on the development of a strategic framework in 2020 and the Council has set aside a significant budget to help us deliver our aims.
We now need the support of community groups and residents to ensure this plan is as successful as it can be – making sure all voices are heard.
A period of public consultation was open from 1 March 2021 until 9 April 2021 to establish the needs of the community. A number of key issues were identified from feedback and the Council adopted its three-year action plan in April 2021. To view the plan, click on the front page below.
